Sponsorship Opportunities: How can I support Family Matters?

‘Family Matters – kids safe in culture, not in care’ is Australia’s national campaign to ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people grow up safe and cared for in family, community and culture. Family Matters aims to eliminate the over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in out-of-home care by 2040. Family Matters is led by SNAICC – Nation Voice for our Children and supported by a Strategic Alliance of over 120 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous organisations.

Family Matters is seeking partnership with peak bodies and agencies interested in driving a new collective approach to break the cycle of removal. This is a long term and complex issue to redress, but a challenge we must urgently take up. We are seeking to build a national coalition of support for Family Matters as a mechanism to drive change across Australia and within your state/territory.

To ensure Family Matters can deliver on its commitment to closing the gap in Indigenous child removal from families and culture, we are seeking the financial support of agencies and individuals committed to making a difference. Your primary benefit is being part of this movement for change. Other sponsorship benefits are detailed below and can be discussed.
